Megaflo - never heard of it. What is it?
Megaflo is the brand name for a Heatre Sadia high performance heating system. Other manufacturers such as Dimplex, Pullin, Baxi and RCM call their systems Megaflow. Either way, it is a mains fed, hot water storage system that delivers high pressure, hot water to taps and showers.
Sounds great - why do I want one?
Well, a Megaflow system can offer high levels of performance. Levels that are not possible with other systems. In London, many lofts have been converted to a bedroom and the cold water tank has been removed. This reduces the water pressure. A megaflo system is fed with water from the mains. The flow rates can be up to 72 litres per minute. This means high pressure and flow rates to all taps, instant hot water and powerful showers. |

Any other advantages with a Megaflo?
Yes, there are!
- You save space because you don't need a cold water tank in the loft
- You won't need a noisy shower pump to increase water pressure
- They are economical to run and provide instant hot water
- You can run multiple showers and bathrooms with no loss of pressure

Any disdavantages of a Megaflow system?
Only two really.
- In the event of a water mains failure you won't have any stored water
- Megaflo systems are pretty expensive
- it will probably cost a minimum of £3000 to supply and fit

- Gas or safety certificates cannot be issued until payment is made in full
- Quotations are free of charge as long as you let us know of your decision within 14 days of issue. If you do not inform us of your decision, an administration charge of £25.00 will be levied. - Where possible we carry spare parts
- However, this is not always possible with 1000's of different makes of boiler on the market
- If the part is delivered and installed on the same day of the appointment, collection is charged at the hourly rate
- If the part is collected and installed any other day, there is a fixed £30 delivery charge
- The time to install the part is charged at hourly rate
