Unblocking baths
The bath is blocked. You know this because the water won't run away when you pull out the plug. We'll find the blockage as soon as possible. Most of the time we'll just need a simple tool but if it's a stubborn blockage, we might use an electro-mechanical machine. Either way our engineers have the right equipment to take care of it.
How do I know my bath is blocked?
The water is still in the bath when you pull out the plug - that's a big giveaway! But call if it's just taking longer than usual to clear. It's not likley to get any better on it's own.

What causes a blocked bath?
It's the same causes that block up sinks, showers and baths - hair, usually. Women's hair mostly because it's generally longer and thicker. It gets trapped in the plughole and clogs it up. Soap and residue then combines with the hair to create a blockage. Occasionally, the blockage is in your main drain. This can be caused by leaves clogging the pipe or even a breakage in the pipe iteslf. Whatever it is, we'll get the water flowing again.

How can I prevent a blocked bath?
Remove hair and don't try and shove it down the plug hole. Every now and then flush the bath with soda crystals and hot water. This should clear any soap scum and residue that may be building up. Finally, check the drainage gullies and drains outside for leaves and other debris that might block the flow of water. |

- If the part is delivered and installed on the same day of the appointment, collection is charged at the hourly rate
