What can you repair?

We can repair small breaks in an underground pipe, fractures, cracks, subsidence, invasions by tree roots, corrosion and even collasped sewers. And without ever needing a digger.

How do you repair a pipe without digging it up?

There a number of ways to restore and repair damaged drains back to full working order. It depends on what the problem is and the scale of the problem. The methods available are polyster felt lining installation, pipe re-rounding, inserting a polyester sleeve and inserting a fibre glass mat.

Polyester felt lining drain repairs

That's a tongue twister! OK, to repair the pipe, a polyester felt liner is impregnated with a resin and then winched through the damaged drain. It's then moulded and fixed firmly in place with water or air pressure to effectively create a new pipe within the old damaged one. Because the sleeve is elastic, it can bend in the pipe without folding or wrinkling. This means that the water will flow easily and enables us to repair even complex pipework.

Pipe re-rounding

When you've got a deformed pipe, pipe re-rounding is the most suitable option available. A re-rounding tool is winched through the pipe to push out the deformity and restore it to it's original shape. The newly re-rounded pipe is then re-lined with a polyester felt liner and attached to the side of the drain.

Inserting a fibreglass mat

Instead of relining or replacing an entire section of drain, we can affect a one-off permanent repair by inserting a fibreglass mat. The mat is coated in epoxy resin then pushed into the pipe, stuck in place with an inflatable packer and cured. This results in a permanent water-tight patch that bonds to the pipe wall itself.

• Hourly rate charges are billed in 15 minute intervals with a minimum charge of one hour

Delivery charges

• Where possible we carry spare parts
• However, this is not always possible with 1000's of different makes of boiler on the market
• If the part is delivered and installed on the same day of the appointment, collection is charged at the hourly rate
• If the part is collected and installed any other day, there is a fixed £30 delivery charge
• The time to install the part is charged at hourly rate
